El Cortez Design Competition

The historic El Cortez in dowtown Las Vegas is hosting a design competition for Nevadan designers to revamp their outdated VIP suites. The designers have been whittled down to the last four applicants and my good friend Tina Enard of Urban Design Studios is in the running with her "The Big Sleep Suite." With a very tight budget of only 20,000 these designers hit it out of the park and prove that these old hotels downtown can usher in a new phase of revitalization. We are big proponents of supporting local designers in this house so please take a moment to check out the designs and vote for your favorite at the Las Vegas Sun site.
