Nailhead Trim Makes Everything Right

I believe in nail head trim. I think it makes plain things prettier, kinda like me in false eyelashes. The most boring of old chairs and upholstered headboards get a face lift with some of these doodads. You can even cheat and buy them in pre-made strips, here for a super easy DIY project. On an old job we had them hand tacked on library walls upholstered in gold silk. It didn't suck , let me just tell you!

  1. Oh, I love, love, love nailhead trim. I saw that you can buy it at the fabric store and glue it on, I'm going to have to try that. Great post!

  6. I have loved the DIY projects of putting nailhead trim on a headboard. My best craigslist purchase has been a blue leather wingback with nailhead trim... a polished kind of tough, no?
