My sister-in-law Lindsay and I are on the hunt for DIY headboard inspiration and this just really makes me smile! Dana over at House*Tweaking shows step-by-step how she made (and hung) this sweet headboard. In fact, I'm a little obsessed with her blog right now because she has so many awesome projects and I secretly, ok, not so secretly want to be more crafty. Really I'd just like to be rich so I can have things made for me but it doesn't seem like that is going to be my lot in life so craftiness it is!
This is so creative and fun! Loving the yellow paint used too! I hope your sister and you find something FAB to do with your DIY project!

I'd like to think that our headboard was DIY (I am really not that crafty), I took my husband's old bed, bought fabric and had it upholstered and added nailheads! I love the finished project, but still I really can't claim I did it quite all by myself :)
ReplyDeleteWow, I love this! I used to have a 'headless' bed and could have done with DIY-ing one. I love the fact she matched the paint to one of the pillows.
