I'm a little giddy with excitement over this discovery! Introducing the "Sprucettes" at a kooky little upholstery shop in Austin, TX called Spruce. Watch the pilot episode and I swear you will be hooked. The show left me feeling excited to be both a girl and in a field where I am allowed to be as creative as I want to be. It also left me frantically searching for an old chair I could reupholster. Reupholstering is like a mythological creature to most of us so to see these gals who are so talented debunk the myth that is upholstery is super exciting. It's like Design 911 for those old pieces your grandma gave you! Now go make a sandwich, get a diet Dr. Pepper, take a break and just watch it- you'll thank me!
