These are some of the most fun, well-designed kids rooms I've ever come across! Kristen Panitch Interiors, based out of Los Angeles is turning out some stellar work all around but it is her design in these kids' bedrooms that is really something special! I plain old love her fearless use of color and pattern. The architectural detail and built-ins in every room don't hurt either. I get the feeling she has some equally fabulous clients.
These are all gorgeous...am needing all the inspiration I can find for doing up my little mans bedroom...this has been great...thank you x
ReplyDeleteThese rooms really are phenomenal. I love the built-ins- when I was a kid, I desperately wanted a built-in bed. Alas, no such luck, unlike these lucky kiddos!
ReplyDeletenew englanders would love
ReplyDeleteI find these a little crowded for my taste. Then again I dont have kids, but I can only imagine that crowded comes with them :)
ReplyDeleteThe one I particularly like the colors that were used, specially in the last room the green and light blue work perfectly :)
this makes me want to be 10 again.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed today's eye candy! I'm a huge fan of built-ins - LOVE them. I have to agree with Lorena about most of these rooms being a bit crowded.
ReplyDeletewith 6 and 3 yr old boys, the more floor space they have and less furniture taking it up, the better. The more built-ins to hide all the toys when they are done, the better for ME! :)
I ripped out a pix in a magazine a few years ago and saved in my 'dream house' folder. I must share with you - I'm sure you would appreciate it.
I would totally move right in to any of these rooms (and I count myself as a grown up). They are so playful and fun, yet somehow still quite sophisticated. How does she do that? Amazing.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous rooms!! I love the bunk beds in that last photo, and I want to live in that first one!
