Oh No You Didn't

It's been a few weeks since I've made fun of some less-than-desirable design so here we go! I am taking aim at some big name designs but I call it like I see it folks.

  3. That chair literally HURTS! Here's an idea: how would you rehab that chair if someone hated you enough to give it as a gift?

  8. I agree too, for me they are a wee bit tacky! But at the end of the day, everyone is different and likes different things, at least they are cheerful!

    All things nice...

  9. LOL! Okay, so the upholstery on the chair is a tad disasterous but the chair itself is beautiful, it's the type of chair I want in my room to sling my clothes on ^__^ xxx

  19. That last table was hilarious although I confessed to kind of liking the first one. It looks like some kid went crazy with a bunch of paint cans and since I've always craved doing just that I can't help but like the effect. Except for the pink and blue legs. They're way off.

  21. Are you serious Amy! Not even the chair?! I think I love it, he he. Love all those bright, rainbow colors. I think it makes a fun chair. We could throw the other two pieces aways.

  27. LOL! That first one I could actually live with IF the rest of the room was white (maybe!). Great post, and fabulous idea about the chalkboard paint, I see ugly framed things all the time at Goodwill, and it's too difficult (or I'm too lazy) to peel off the paper backing and reframe, chalkboard paint is really an awesome idea! Like the Beastie Boys say, you ARE crafty!

  28. The tables are 'puke' but I don't hate the chair..... completely. I'm sure it looked great in the designers head because the colours are great and the fabric is cool and the juxtaposition of style seems like it should work.... but it just doesn't. ...........P.S. So glad that you're following me or I wouldn't found your great blog. :)

  29. Oh, dear. I really don't have anything else to say. All of those are just . . . so. . .um. Yes, really, nothing else to say.

  30. I love the chair!! It is so wrong it's right! haha, although not so sure about the tables.. eek! :) Hazel

  31. although VERY crazy and colorfull, the chair could actualy not look that bad when put in a proper back drop. i mean if it was in a white walled and really regal room with a red frame and maybe a red love seat with a nice silver coffee table, im sure it wouldnt be terrible. but thats just me i guess ;) who knows i may be crazy.
