Here's what I hate. This room. Maybe, maybe it's cute for a little girl but there are pumps in this room so I know it's not. This is a grown woman's shoe closet- no, shoe ROOM! The hot pink walls with rows and rows of chandelier decals? Wrong. The black ceiling? Wrong. I would blame the feather boa, skates and fedora on the designer as horrible props but there was no designer here people. Really, just a better color palate could save this room. In fact, I like the hounds tooth and the black chandelier but everything else is crying out, "sell some shoes and hire a designer for the love of God!"
hmmm...and i thought it all seemed very retro...lol! it is a bit hideous...

ReplyDeleteIt's interesting to read your professional opinion...I don't have a problem with the colors of this room, but the wall with the chandelier print is really not the best choice...and I'm not a fan of that armchair as well...By the way I would be happy to own a shoe room at all LOL.

I think is Miley Cyrus' closet! I remember seeing it in a magazine - maybe InStyle. Says so much doesn't it? Awkwardly caught between girly and over-sexed...

To be fair though, it could have been a photo of a blind transvestite Alien's room, on a spaceship in the future with an "earth vintage" look beamed down to earth as a teenage future alien's senior prank. So...just saying.
