Painted Floors Galore

Painted Floors

The graphic stylings and clean, glossy planes of these painted floors really appeal to me. I would love to live in a house that had some old beat up wood floors that I could experiment on. The only thing I've got hiding under my carpet is a concrete slab. Boo! I guess for now I can just have a little floor envy.

  1. I think this is such a gorgeous idea if executed well (like the examples above). Now only if I had a hardwood floor...

  3. I love those! I love the stripes! I wonder...do I prefer stripes on the ceiling or on the floor? Some of those look like they were painted on concrete...maybe you could paint yours! Or use Flor tiles if you really wanted some pizzazz.... very cute

  12. I have always loved painted floors, but have a hard time mussing up something perfectly lovely unless I've acquired it for free. I'm going to have to find a very motherly interior designer to hand hold my way through my next house!

  13. Hi, came over via Little Blue Deer! Love all those floors, I am a painted floor fanatic, and even have a few in my home. Tomorrow I am doing a post on painted wood stairs, and asking readers to weigh in...would love your thoughts! So glad to have found you.
