There's no reason you shouldn't try this little paint swatch project, 75% of the materials can be straight up stolen from your local hardware store without you being thrown in the clink. That was my best attempt at prison lingo right there people. Go kick rocks if ya didn't like it!
P.S. I cannot remember where I stumbled across this pic. If anyone knows, I'd love to give credit!

ReplyDeleteI like that! Would be really fun in a kids room and they could help!
ReplyDeleteNow this is a DIY that I can even manage! Such a great idea!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I have seen so many cute crafts using paint chips lately....I am wondering when the paint companies are gonna catch on and start charging for paint chips! I better go snag a bunch before they do!
ReplyDeletethis would be rad in a color scheme .
ReplyDelete*Brilliant!*
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to do something with my paint swatches for a while, but couldn't have dreamed up anything this big.
Off to dress-up in my stripey onesy and a balaclava, ready for the divvie ride home :)
Thanks for sharing this!
Yeah, I have enough paint chips to make a few of those. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteDon't know where the picture came from but your idea of free swatch pots pre-dates you, judging by your photo unless of course you have found the fountain of youth, by a good thirty to forty years.
ReplyDeleteNo one gives away pots of sample paints any more, they cost at least £1-2, still a snip for the variety needed for the masterpiece which I love too.
If the expression weren't so badly and so often misused, I'd say it was quite gay.
Thanks for the idea,
